Deal at Dundas Castle: Scottish Entertainment Event

On Wednesday night Roddy attended the signing of a £300m deal by financiers at Dundas Castle. Amid the Champagne and Canapés Reel Time were on hand providing the best of Scottish entertainment. Reel Time put on a Full Scottish Show including highly skilled drummers, pipers and clarsach players. During the celebrations two mini pipe bands drummed the beat to mark the momentous occasion. Alongside the vibrant music several Highland Dancers took to the floor to impress the guests in the traditional highland attire. Reel Time Events is a whisky tasting company based in Edinburgh.  We were asked to put on a Whisky tasting for a health and safety conference dinner. We arrived at the Hilton in Glasgow while the guests were enjoying their dinner. Setting up the Whisky stations in a room adjacent to the dining guests. A fantastic weekend of birthday celebrations was had by all at Dundas Castle over the weekend with entertainments supplied by the one and only Reel-Time Events! After an impressive Scottish feast in the Stag Chamber the guests were led into the Grand Hall to be met by 2 of Reel-Times incredible Highland dancers. Pixar BRAVE launch for Press, Edinburgh June 2012

The Reel Time Band were requested to come and help put some Disney PIXAR Magic into the international press junket for the upcoming BRAVE movie all about Scotland. We helped run the full programme of evening entertainment for the internationally invited VIP guests for our client, Partisan Events, who was running the event production of the entire 3 days of events. Reel Time had a wonderful night at Kelvingrove on Tuesday, entertaining the VIP guests of Visit Scotland. We had a bagpiper welcoming the guests to the fantastic Glasgow venue.  Roddy Deans was compering the event and addressed the haggis, while the Reel Time Ceilidh Band was on hand to give its funky brand of ceilidh music for guests to let their hair down.  Later in the evening, the great Rodolpho performed some Aerial hoop, and silk performances. Visit Scotland: Scotland Means Business 2011

We were up at the Old Course Hotel on Tuesday for a fantastic event run by Visit Scotland  for their Scotland Means Business workshop. 150 companies from all over the world converged on Fairmont Hotel for face to face meetings, networking and of course a VIP Scottish themed gala dinner (held down the road at the Old Course) Roddy Deans was comparing the event, introducing Bagpipers, celtic dancers and of course the energetic Reel Time Ceilidh Band. Reel Time tune up for Visit Scotland

Reel Time Ceilidh Band and Roddy the Piper were delighted to be invited to play at this year’s Visit Scotland Business Tourism unit  Gala Dinner at Brigadoon.  Invited were 150 event organisers, hotel managers, DMC companies and tour operators.  The band played a 30 minute set after dinner which got guests arm in arm.  Great comments from everyone, including newly appointed Chairman of Visit Scotland Michael Cantlay "Thanks so much for playing at this highly prestigious event for Visit Scotland". Reel Time is working with Visit Scotland to entertain their guests who are attending the Scotland Means Business workshops in April.  The Reel Time Ceilidh Band have been booked to entertain guests during their Scottish Gala dinner, then to lead them in a night of ceilidh dancing.  It is great to be involved with this Visit Scotland showcase event, so that we can show potential bookers our contemporary twist on Scottish entertainment.

After 5 years of running Reel Time Events we are delighted to be recommended as a supplier to the Unique Venues of Edinburgh. The Unique Venues of Edinburgh are an initiative formed to promote the very best in hospitality Edinburgh has to offer.
