Reel Time was helping Visit Scotland entertain a delegation of journalists, event bookers and other MICE professionals at Stirling castle. 16th May 2011. Reel Time provided a lively entrée to the guests Scottish dinner with a performance from Scotlands fight display experts: the clann. Visit Scotland: Scotland Means Business 2011

We were up at the Old Course Hotel on Tuesday for a fantastic event run by Visit Scotland for their Scotland Means Business workshop. 150 companies from all over the world converged on Fairmont Hotel for face to face meetings, networking and of course a VIP Scottish themed gala dinner (held down the road at the Old Course) Roddy Deans was comparing the event, introducing Bagpipers, celtic dancers and of course the energetic Reel Time Ceilidh Band. 85 Ladies arrive for a highland fling

Reel Time Events got asked for an X factor style kilt dressing session to form a part of a mini indoor highland games. The clients wanted some fun and interactive challenges that teams could compete in to collect the prizes. With their conference being in Scotland this year, they thought that the highland games was a great theme. 3 Whisky tastings over the last couple of weeks

McEwan hall, 230 guests enjoyed a Whisky tasting experience in one of Edinburgh University’s most stunning buildings as part of their social program for their conference. We brought in a couple of our friends from Mellis cheesemonger, who served up a great selection of Scottish cheeses. Helping us to promote responsible drinking. We returned To Edinburgh University’s Play fair library for a whisky tasting experience for the Conference of Bibliographers. A smaller group of 100 guests had great interaction with our Whisky experts, and we laid on some great Scottish cheese for them.

Edinburgh Conference Whisky tasting

Reel Time entertained the 2010 Nanotoxicology conference with a Whisky tasting for their 340 guests at Edinburgh City Chambers. We set up 4 Whisky stalls each of which was manned by a passionate whisky taster, who advised and entertained guests as they enjoyed a range of fantastic malt whiskies. Scotland Means Business, Visit Scotland

Reel Time is working with Visit Scotland to entertain their guests who are attending the Scotland Means Business workshops in April. The Reel Time Ceilidh Band have been booked to entertain guests during their Scottish Gala dinner, then to lead them in a night of ceilidh dancing. It is great to be involved with this Visit Scotland showcase event, so that we can show potential bookers our contemporary twist on Scottish entertainment.

After 5 years of running Reel Time Events we are delighted to be recommended as a supplier to the Unique Venues of Edinburgh. The Unique Venues of Edinburgh are an initiative formed to promote the very best in hospitality Edinburgh has to offer. The group is made up of 26 members, including Historic Venues like Edinburgh and Dundas Castles. Alternative underground dinner venues the Queens private yacht Britannia, the HUB (Scotlands festival centre) to the Beautiful surrounds of the Edinburgh Botanic Gardens . Robert The Bruce Theme Conference

Reel Time organised a fantastic social program for a pharmaceutical company visiting Edinburgh for their annual conference. Their vision was to have a Robert the Bruce twist on the conference and to give delegates a lasting impression of Scotland. We organised them everything from a clann battle to Highland games with a whisky tasting as an unwind on the last night.
