Roddy was over in Las Vegas for IMEX America, the biggest tourism trade event in the calendar; America’s worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events. Roddy was working alongside Visit Scotland to help promote Scotland as a destination to international group buyers. Roddy started the group presentations with some Scottish music on his small pipes, before reciting Robert Burns Address to the Haggis. It was a pleasure to work with Visit Scotland to entertain Andrews in St Andrews as part of their St Andrew’s Day marketing campaign. Entertaining at VisitScotland’s Expo 2016

Reel Time Events had the pleasure of entertaining over 700 delegates as part of VisitScotland’s Expo 2016. Held at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange for international buyers from the leisure industry, the event was a great success, with guests tasting some of Scotlands finest produce and being entertained by Roddy and the Reel Time Ceilidh Band for the evening. Guests were welcomed at the venue by Roddy, playing some rousing tunes on the bagpipes as they all made their way into the venue for the awards ceremony, hosted by Des Clarke, and gala dinner. One of our great loves at Reel Time Events is promoting Scottish culture, produce and music with passion and enthusiasm. Much of this is done here in Scotland, showcasing our great nation to visitors from far flung lands, but occasionally we are lucky enough to get the opportunity to promote Scotland on the International stage. Macbeth Premiere arrives in Edinburgh

Sunday evening Edinburgh welcomed the star studded film premiere of Macbeth held at Edinburgh's Festival Theatre, including Hollywood A-listers Michael Fassbender, who plays the title role, Paddy Considine and David Thewlis. Reel Time Events were lucky enough to be involved in the premier afterparty held at the National Museum of Scotland, with Roddy and Johnny providing a rousing Scottish welcome on the bagpipes to the 1500 stars and guests. Visit Scotland’s Expo, entertainment by Reel Time Events

Visit Scotland’s largest business to business event, Expo, was held at the SECC in Glasgow this week. Hundreds of destination management companies, professional conference makers, tour companies and journalists descended on Glasgow to meet the very best that Scotland has to provide. Venues, service providers and destination management companies exchanged ideas and contacts with the delegates. Reel-Time Zone Difference – Roddy the Piper and Visit Scotland at IMEX

Roddy left the sunny shores of Scotland for the bright lights of Las Vegas last week. Travelling with Visit Scotland to the IMEX American Convention Roddy helped share Scotland’s culture and tradition with the USA. IMEX is the largest conference for the MICE industry (meetings, incentives, conferences and events) representing 148 countries and 2,400 hosted buyers. Visit Scotland travelled to Las Vegas to showcase Scotland’s tourism industry; it was a great opportunity to display Scotland’s potential to representatives from around the world. Reel Time Events and Visit Britain entertain the Travel Trade.

The Reel Time team were recruited by Visit Britain to entertain 500 international travel trade guests. With all the exciting events coming to Scotland in 2014, there is a real push to market Scotland to international buyers; with the Ryder Cup, commonwealth games and a year of Homecoming The event was hosted at Wembley Stadium and was Visit Britains biggest annual event for business to business buyers.
