It was a pleasure to work with Visit Scotland to entertain Andrews in St Andrews as part of their St Andrew’s Day marketing campaign. Andrews, Andres and Andreas from across Europe were invited to come and experience a flavour of what Scotland has to offer, and discover more about the home of their namesake, and Scotland’s, Patron Saint. Reel Time Events has been involved in welcoming a group of senior event professionals to Scotland as part of the ISES Global Events Summit, a partnership between the International Special Events Society, VisitScotland Business Events and the IMEX Group. The invited guests from across North America were treated to 3 nights of some of Scotland’s finest venues and locations with Roddy developing an Scottish rapport with the guests. Entertaining at VisitScotland’s Expo 2016

Reel Time Events had the pleasure of entertaining over 700 delegates as part of VisitScotland’s Expo 2016. Held at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange for international buyers from the leisure industry, the event was a great success, with guests tasting some of Scotlands finest produce and being entertained by Roddy and the Reel Time Ceilidh Band for the evening. Guests were welcomed at the venue by Roddy, playing some rousing tunes on the bagpipes as they all made their way into the venue for the awards ceremony, hosted by Des Clarke, and gala dinner. One of our great loves at Reel Time Events is promoting Scottish culture, produce and music with passion and enthusiasm. Much of this is done here in Scotland, showcasing our great nation to visitors from far flung lands, but occasionally we are lucky enough to get the opportunity to promote Scotland on the International stage. Last month Roddy was lucky enough to be invited by Visit Scotland, along with his colleague Will Marshall, to a week long tour of India where they helped promote Scotland as a destination to the Indian leisure industry.
