Pixar BRAVE launch for Press, Edinburgh June 2012

The Reel Time Band were requested to come and help put some Disney PIXAR Magic into the international press junket for the upcoming BRAVE movie all about Scotland. International Burns night Kiev: Reel Time Band

It was a pleasure to take the Reel Time Band over to Kiev at the end of March, for our last Burns night of 2012. Reel Time had a wonderful night at Kelvingrove on Tuesday, entertaining the VIP guests of Visit Scotland. We had a bagpiper welcoming the guests to the fantastic Glasgow venue.  Roddy Deans was compering the event and addressed the haggis, while the Reel Time Ceilidh Band was on hand to give its funky brand of ceilidh music for guests to let their hair down.  Later in the evening, the great Rodolpho performed some Aerial hoop, and silk performances. Reel Time mini Adventure

Reel Time entertained 42 mini enthusiasts on the 29th April 2011 at Marlins Wynd restaurant in Edinburgh.  They had been touring around Scotland in their classic Minis, and were looking for a Real Scottish Experience as a grand finale. Team Building Event at Dundas Castle

Reel Time Events entertained 80 chief executives from the US CEO club. They were looking for team activities, which could be done by any age group. The guests were welcomed to Dundas Castle by Robert the Bruce. Before guests were split into teams and competed in percussion, X-factor kilt dressing, bagpipes and cabers for their highland games. reel time ceilidh band cast on film

The Reel Time ceilidh band have just completed 2 days intense filming for a German film to be aired on Christmas day on Germany, before hitting screens around the world. Reel Time supplied a 5 piece scottish ceilidh band (accordion, fiddle, small pipes, keyboards, drums) along with 10 film extras to perform with the artistes on the movie. We casted kilted ceilidh dancers and ladies in ballgowns for the highland ball scene. Scotland Means Business, Visit Scotland

Reel Time is working with Visit Scotland to entertain their guests who are attending the Scotland Means Business workshops in April.  The Reel Time Ceilidh Band have been booked to entertain guests during their Scottish Gala dinner, then to lead them in a night of ceilidh dancing.  It is great to be involved with this Visit Scotland showcase event, so that we can show potential bookers our contemporary twist on Scottish entertainment.
