Roddy left the sunny shores of Scotland for the bright lights of Las Vegas last week. Travelling with Visit Scotland to the IMEX American Convention Roddy helped share Scotland’s culture and tradition with the USA. IMEX is the largest conference for the MICE industry (meetings, incentives, conferences and events) representing 148 countries and 2,400 hosted buyers. Reel Time Events is a whisky tasting company based in Edinburgh.  We were asked to put on a Whisky tasting for a health and safety conference dinner. Reel Time Events and Visit Britain entertain the Travel Trade.

The Reel Time team were recruited by Visit Britain to entertain 500 international travel trade guests. With all the exciting events coming to Scotland in 2014, there is a real push to market Scotland to international buyers; with the Ryder Cup, commonwealth games and a year of Homecoming The event was hosted at Wembley Stadium and was Visit Britains biggest annual event for business to business buyers. April 2011 saw us entertain 72 Fire department managers from Airports all over the UK.
