Reel Time put on some Highland Games for us at Wedderburn Castle to Celebrate my husband's birthday. All I can say is WOW! What an awesome crew, they had us all in hysterics. The team provided a seamless and we'll organised afternoon of games which everyone couldn't stop talking about. They made the weekend epic! The entire team at Reel time is AMAZING! We were referred to them for our wedding through our venue and they didn’t disappoint. From their Highland game set up the day before our wedding, the Falconry display the morning of (which guests continue to talk about), Roddy piping our guests and me into the ceremony as well into our wedding breakfast, the Haggis toast, and finally the Reel time ceilidh band and DJ to end the night, I can sufficiently say their entire team is incredible. They truly made our wedding experience unbelievable and we continue to reminisce  on how much fun we had and how amazing they were as a team. We hired Reeltime for the Highland Games on the morning of our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the event! It was really fun to see our guests compete in the various events and the gentlemen running them really created a spirited and fun atmosphere. The events were taught very well and mixed with  plenty of jokes. Our guests left with lots of fun videos, photos, and memories, if not a few trophies. As part of my wedding weekend festivities, my fiance (now husband) and I decided to host a Highland Games for the wedding guests to compete in the day before the wedding (roughly 35 competitors in total split amongst four teams/clans!) at Borthwick Castle. Working with Roddy from Reel Time Events was wonderful from start to finish. He made the process easy and answered all my questions promptly. When the day came and the weather was unfortunately filled with heavy rain and flooding of the castle grounds, Roddy came to the rescue with a plan in place to make the highland games happen inside the castle. By the time my guests arrived for the events, they were already set up and awaiting their arrival! It was extremely impressive and Roddy welcomed our guests by playing the bagpipes himself as an opening ceremony of sorts. Everyone loved it! I was worried we wouldn't have fun having the games inside (minus the archery where they set up a tent to keep us dry), but I was very wrong. My guests had a wonderful time! They came up to me after the games saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to and the wedding didn't actually happen till the next day! The activity facilitators were all outstanding and very knowledgable. We had four activities: archery, caber toss, stone put and bagpipes. Each one got the guests competitive juices flowing and helped break the tension of people not knowing each other. Prizes were provided to the top and bottom teams (my husband on the bottom team). Definitely assign someone to watch each group and take pictures or hire a photographer for the afternoon. My only regret is I wish we had more pictures!

The Reel Time team were a great support for our events.  We booked a Clarsach player, ceilidh band and highland dancers.  Would highly recommend Roddy and the team for any upcoming events or conferences.
