Visit Scotland: Scotland Means Business 2011

We were up at the Old Course Hotel on Tuesday for a fantastic event run by Visit Scotland  for their Scotland Means Business workshop. 150 companies from all over the world converged on Fairmont Hotel for face to face meetings, networking and of course a VIP Scottish themed gala dinner (held down the road at the Old Course) Roddy Deans was comparing the event, introducing Bagpipers, celtic dancers and of course the energetic Reel Time Ceilidh Band. Guests commented afterwards over a nightcap what a fantastic Scottish event it had been, letting them experience first hand the diverse range of Scottish hospitality, entertainment and culture [...]

Reel Time tune up for Visit Scotland

Reel Time Ceilidh Band and Roddy the Piper were delighted to be invited to play at this year’s Visit Scotland Business Tourism unit  Gala Dinner at Brigadoon.  Invited were 150 event organisers, hotel managers, DMC companies and tour operators.  The band played a 30 minute set after dinner which got guests arm in arm.  Great comments from everyone, including newly appointed Chairman of Visit Scotland Michael Cantlay "Thanks so much for playing at this highly prestigious event for Visit Scotland".
