The Edinburgh Wedding ceilidh band of choice for many is the Reel-Time Ceilidh Band
They recently played at a wedding in the luxurious Lennoxlove House at the weekend. Located near Haddington in East Lothian Lennoxlove House is over 700 years old; steeped in history the venue boasts spectacular views over the Lammermuir Hills.
This was Reel-Time’s last gig at Lennoxlove House as the Duke of Hamilton is returning to the estate. Having played over fifty gigs at Lennoxlove Reel-Time will miss playing ceilidh music in its grand halls.
It is a fitting location for the extravagant Polish-Scottish wedding that took place during which the Reel-Time Ceilidh Band helped teach the Polish guests traditional Scottish dances. The ceilidh band use a ceilidh caller to take guests through the dance steps then the music starts up and the dancing begins! The band is used to introducing our international neighbours to the joys of ceilidh dancing and the enthusiasm of the Polish guests helped create the perfect atmosphere for the wedding.
Following the energetic ceilidh dances Reel-Time set up a Disco allowing guests to choose their own favourite modern tunes.
