HIGHLAND GAMES

The great Scottish interactive bond building experience

View our new Highland Games video here

Historically, Clan chiefs would hold highland games to test their men for certain skills.  On seeing their performance, the chief would decide who was best suited for different tasks based on their abilities. So the fastest runner would become the messenger, the strongest men would become the bodyguards etc.

In 21st century Scotland, these highland games are still enjoyed by athletes who train to compete for Scottish and international prizes.  Highland games are also used for wedding bond building, and no prior training is necessary.

Reel Time put these highland game experiences on for wedding parties. Often the day before their wedding, to help get guests interacting with each other. We find that these are especially popular for international parties coming to Scotland for their wedding, as they often have a few days of activities to plan.

We bring in the athletes who show your guests how to perform the different activities, then the participants are split up into different clans (teams) to compete for prizes.
