Reel Time Events has been involved in welcoming a group of senior event professionals to Scotland as part of the ISES Global Events Summit, a partnership between the International Special Events Society, VisitScotland Business Events and the IMEX Group.  The invited guests from across North America were treated to 3 nights of some of Scotland’s finest venues and locations with Roddy developing an Scottish rapport with the guests.  Roddy was waiting at Edinburgh Airport to welcome the group after their visit to IMEX Frankfurt and escort them to their bus by bagpipes, introducing them to the sound of the pipes first hand before the group travelled to Gleneagles for the afternoon. Roddy also met the group for their tour of Edinburgh Castle, giving the guests a chance of a photo opportunity in one of Edinburghs iconic venues.

For the guests’ gala dinner, held on the Royal Yacht Britannia, Reel Time Events organised kilt outfits for the gentlemen and tartan sashes for the ladies.  Particularly for the gentlemen it was a chance to immerse themselves in Scottish culture and experience the liberation and freedom that comes from wearing a kilt, feeling the breeze between the knees!  With an instructional demo from Roddy and a helping hand during the drinks reception held at the Sheraton Hotel, all of the guests made their way to the Royal Yacht proudly wearing their tartan for the final evening of their adventure.
