Guests are dressed in kilt outfits at their hotel, tartan sashes for ladies
Guests coach transfer to venue, and arrive for drinks.

Bagpiper on arrival, Clarsach to play during drinks reception.
Pre dinner drinks:  whisky tasting or whisky cocktail options.
Piper to announce and pipe guests in for dinner.
Clarsach to provide background music during drinks reception and dinner.
Haggis ceremony performed by the Pipe Major.
Dancer display during dinner.  5 minute spots at 2 stages during dinner, or a 10-15 minute performance with coffee.  Highland fling, Sword Dance and The Lilt feature in these performances.

Dancers can also help guests to get ceilidh dancing. The Ceilidh band can teach guests some traditional Scottish ceilidh dances.  A fun Scottish pastime and will burn off a few of the calories from dinner. Usually 45-90 minutes of ceilidh dancing is good for unseasoned ceilidh dancers.

We can interject at this stage with a great Scottish pastime:

The Clan fight:  Axes claymores and broadswords clash and sparks fly as the clansmen battle to the death.  Choreographed controlled fight scenes that will leave guests with an understanding of the early battles over Scotland. (Torch lit processions can be organised to guide clients back to their carriages.)

Pipe band to Beat the retreat to conclude the evening.  15-20 minute performances of 16 massed pipes and drums.   A real finale that will leave guests with great lasting impressions of your event.
